2010 Faith & Life Resources VBS Curriculum Named "Top Pick"

Meet God on the Mountain, the 2010 Faith & Life Resources Vacation Bible School curriculum, has been named one of five "Top Picks" by the Center for the Ministry of Teaching at Virginia Theological Seminary.

In naming Meet God on the Mountain to its annual list of recommended curriculum, the Center notes that the Faith Commitments in the Director’s Guide “is thoughtful, emphasizing the love of God and the blessings brought by that love” and commends the activities in the Backpack Adventure Guide, which “lend themselves to outdoor fun.”

It also praises the curriculum’s "extensive list of books and resources," and notes that it is "less expensive than many others."

The Center, which works to support and enrich Christian education in the Episcopal Church and partner denominations, bases its selections on theology, inclusiveness and on how the theme is supported by a cohesive program of stories and activities.

This is the fourth time that VBS curriculum from Faith & Life Resources, the congregational resources imprint of Mennonite Publishing Network, has been recommended by the Center.
