Resource Advocates Explore Stewardship, Caring, Gift Discernment
"Empowering Our Leaders: Administration, Stewardship, Caring Ministries, and Gift Discernment," was the theme of the February 26-28 MC USA Conference Resource Advocate training weekend in Baltimore, MD.

Nineteen of 21 MC USA conferences were represented at the event, which featured reports from conference agencies, discussion about promoting resources, worship and a time of anointing to commission the Resource Advocates for their work.
MC USA Resource Advocates are volunteers who represent Executive Leadership and Mennonite Mission Network, Mennonite Education Agency, Mennonite Mutual Aid and Mennonite Publication Network. Their role is to inform conferences and congregations about resources available from the various agencies—things like books, curriculum, study materials, service opportunities and other items and events.
The MC USA Resource Advocates are supported by Resource Advocate Coordinator Kathy Weaver Wenger of Mennonite Publishing Network.
